Polices:

Return and Exchange Policy:
Due to the nature of the garments and other items being sold, we do not accept any returns, exchanges, or cancellations after the you have placed your order. Your dress is often ordered from the manufacturer, and therefore, cannot be returned. Please be sure to measure carefully; you are responsible for selecting your own size. A measuring guide to use as a reference may be found on our FAQ page.  We inspect every dress that comes through us to check for any defects or damages, however, in the event the dress arrives to you in a damaged condition contact us by email at cinderellasgowns@yahoo.com within 48 hours of receiving your dress and we can arrange to send a return authorization for the damaged dress and send you a replacement dress or issue a merchandise credit if a replacement is unavailable. Clearance gowns are sold AS IS, no returns or exchanges for any reason. The damaged dress must be returned in unworn condition with all tags and labels still intact. 
Dress Availability:
Availability changes constantly, especially during Prom season from January through April. Because inventory changes so frequently we cannot check availability by email. When you place your order, we will check our inventory and call the manufacturers to check on your order. If the dress is not available in time for your wear date you will receive an email and your credit card will not be charged.  
Shipping:
Cinderella’s Closet offers free ground shipping to the continental United States. Standard ground shipping takes 5 to 9 business days depending on your location. Dresses are shipped out as soon as possible. You may choose to expedite shipping if your wear date is sooner by selecting one of the expedited shipping options. Dresses that are special ordered from the manufacturer will take a little longer. The dress will be shipped to us, then we will ship it to you as per your shipping choice, or you may be contacted to expedite shipping if your wear date is close. You are responsible for any expedited shipping charges including additional charges that may be incurred over what the estimated cost shows. International customers will pay shipping based on the current rate and are responsible for any additional taxes or duties. You will be notified of your ship date and may request a tracking number by emailing us at cinderellasgowns@yahoo.com, be sure to include your name, phone number, and email address with “Request Tracking Number” as the subject of your email. If you order Friday after 3 or Saturday or Sunday, it will be Monday before we can process your order. We will notify you as soon as possible with availability and shipping information. Orders placed after 10 AM EST may not ship until the following business day.
Alterations:
Nearly every dress will require alterations to get a perfect fit. Dresses are made to a standard measurement, based on the manufacturer’s size chart, and can then be altered to fit you. Please choose the largest size based on your measurement and the size chart. Dresses can almost always be taken in to fit you, but letting dresses out is never as easy. When ordering your prom dress, please remember that alterations, especially a hem and taking up straps, are to be expected. Also, please be aware that all sizes are US sizes. If you are ordering outside of the US please be aware your sizes may run differently.

Typographical Errors
In the event that a $(Cinderella’s Closet) product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, $(Cinderella’s Closet) reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. $(Cinderella’s Closet) reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, $(Cinderella’s Closet) shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.


Term; Termination
These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration or shopping process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by $(Cinderella’s Closet) without notice at any time, for any reason. The provisions relating to Copyrights, Trademark, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification and Miscellaneous, shall survive any termination.

$(Cinderella’s Closet) may deliver notice to you by means of e-mail, a general notice on the site, or by other reliable method to the address you have provided to $(Cinderella’s Closet).


Miscellaneous
Your use of this site shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the state of California, U.S.A., without regard to choice of law provisions, and not by the 1980 U.N. Convention on contracts for the international sale of goods. Any cause of action or claim you may have with respect to the site (including but not limited to the purchase of $(Cinderella’s Closet) products) must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises. $(Cinderella’s Closet)'s failure to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of these terms and conditions shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right. Neither the course of conduct between the parties nor trade practice shall act to modify any of these terms and conditions. $(Cinderella’s Closet) may assign its rights and duties under this Agreement to any party at any time without notice to you.


Use of Site
Harassment in any manner or form on the site, including via e-mail, chat, or by use of obscene or abusive language, is strictly forbidden. Impersonation of others, including a $(Cinderella’s Closet) or other licensed employee, host, or representative, as well as other members or visitors on the site is prohibited. You may not upload to, distribute, or otherwise publish through the site any content which is libelous, defamatory, obscene, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, illegal, or otherwise objectionable which may constitute or encourage a criminal offense, violate the rights of any party or which may otherwise give rise to liability or violate any law.
